Camera Permission

The camera access permission is an Android and iOS permission.

It lets the Visualfy app use the camera to:

  • Read the QR code on the Visualfy Home DSS.
  • Read the QR code to subscribe to a building adapted by Visualfy.

The following videos show how to grant this permission:

On Android, if you tapped “Deny”, you can enable the permission as shown in the video below.

Enable the permission from your phone’s “Settings” #

If you denied this permission before, you can enable it from:

  • iOS: Settings -> Visualfy -> Camera -> turn on the switch
  • Android:
    • Tap the “Read code” button on the screen to read the QR code.
    • Tap “Accept” in the message “To enable this option, go to your phone settings and enable the camera permission in the Visualfy app”.
    • The app settings screen opens. Go to: App permissions -> Camera -> Allow

Another option is to go directly to: *Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps -> Visualfy -> App permissions -> Camera -> Allow*.
