The “third-party app notifications” or “notifications from other apps in Visualfy” permission is an Android-only permission used by Third-Party Apps and the Visualfy Places accessible SMS alert.

It allows the Visualfy app to read notifications from other apps. When another app creates a notification, Visualfy lights up the locked phone screen in color to alert the user.

To enable this permission:

Third-Party Apps #

• Tap the “+” button in “Third-party apps” in “Visualfy Mobile”.
• Tap “Enable”.
• Notification access for Visualfy is now enabled.

Accessible SMS alert #

• If you have not granted this permission before, the app will ask you to enable it when you subscribe to an accessible building that has this alert.
