How do we use cookies?

What is a cookie?

A “Cookie” is a small text file that a website stores in the user’s browser, facilitating navigation through a web page and is essential for the operation of the internet.

Cookies are used, for example, to validate registrations on the web (remember username and password); remember options such as size, language, browser used; analyze user habits and behaviors to improve the services offered, or to adapt the contents of a web page to the preferences of the visitor.

Cookies can be “session”, so they will be deleted once the user leaves the website that generated them or “persistent”, which remain on your computer until a certain date.

Also, Cookies can be “own”, managed by the domain that the user accesses and from which a certain service is requested (in this case the domains owned by FUSIO D’ARTS TECHNOLOGY, S.L. as owner of the VISUALFY domain) or “third-party cookies”, sent to the user’s computer from a domain other than the one accessed.

Type of Cookies Used on the VISUALFY Website

Our website uses four types of cookies:

  • Own cookies: These are strictly necessary cookies. They allow user interaction with the website using all its functions.
  • Performance and analysis cookies: These are cookies used for analysis, research or statistics in order to improve the website experience. Through the use of these cookies, more relevant information can be shown to visitors.
  • Cookies used by social networks: On the web you can find buttons from different social networks that allow the user to share content with the contacts of their social network. These cookies allow the user to interact without having to re-enter their data to share such content. The use of these buttons does not imply access to the data entered by users when sharing content on a social network.
  • Cookies used by external plugins: On the web we offer content that is hosted on third-party services, such as videos hosted on Youtube. These cookies are used by the service providers themselves and are necessary for the user to access said service and are governed by the provisions of their respective cookie policies.

Analytical cookies are only loaded once the user gives us their consent to collect anonymous statistical data during their navigation on this website, in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 13/2012.

It is important to note that these technologies are not intrusive, since all the information obtained through cookies is completely anonymous, and in no case can it be associated with a specific and identified user. This information allows VISUALFY to adapt and improve its Services to the interests of users. However, the user has the option to prevent the generation of cookies, by selecting the corresponding option in their browser program. VISUALFY informs that in the event that you disable the use of cookies, navigation may be slower than usual.

Specifically, all browsers allow changes that allow you to disable the configuration of cookies. These settings are located in the “options” or “preferences” of your browser menu.

Below we show you through links how to disable cookies by following the instructions of the most used browsers:

Additional Information About Social Plugins.

On our website we offer you the so-called social plugins of different social networks (e.g. the “Like” button on Facebook).

If you are a member of a social network and click on the corresponding social plugin, the provider of the social network may link your profile data with the information of your visit to that website. Therefore, it is convenient to learn about the functions of the respective social network.

If you use one of these social plugins within our website, your browser will call the plugin from the servers of the social network provider and present it as part of our website.

In doing so, said provider may store cookies or so-called “web beacons” on your computer.

If you do not wish to activate this function, find out about the configuration possibilities of your browser regarding how it handles cookies and “web beacons”. The manufacturer of your browser or the providers of the so-called browser extensions and plugins may provide you with this information.

More Information.

Any user who has any questions about these technologies can send us an email to dpd@visualfy.com so that it can be resolved as soon as possible.
